In FNCS Globals Predictions, there’s two clear standouts. Peterbot and Pollo’s trios. Last year’s champions, who have done incredible things this year and now both are the favorites to become back-to-back champions. But there’s a lot more to consider.

FNCS Globals Predictions – Peterbot V Pollo For the Crown

In the FNCS Globals lobby there’s nearly 100 of the best Fortnite players. Looking at past tournaments, like the FNCS Majors that got these teams here, and their performance recently, what can we learn?

The FNCS Global Championship is always a bit different. It takes the top teams from each server region and slots them into one lobby. This can massively change the dynamics, great players falter, and top teams from under-watched regions pop off. But who are looking the strongest in FNCS Globals Predictions this year?

Peterbot V Pollo

The big story in the FNCS Globals this year is undoubtably Peterbot V Pollo. If you’ve been following the FNCS teams this year you likely don’t need a recap. Former Duos partners split into two trios, spend all three majors going head-to-head. However, things are looking close in the FNCS Globals predictions.

Peterbot is the favorite. Alongside Ritual and Cold, he’s won two out of three Majors this season, and done so in an unconventional way. Both times he waited until the very last game to chase down the winning Trio and ensure his win. But there’s been plenty of hiccups.

Peterbot’s Trio hasn’t had the same synergy in every event. While it’s difficult to argue Peterbot isn’t the best Fortnite player right now, he’s far from the best team player. He frequently leaves his Trio behind. Having two hyper aggressive players in Peterbot and Cold can be risky too. Ritual especially has caught a lot of blame this year for not keeping up. These little problems in their dynamic could become even bigger once it’s under the lights and stress of the LAN.

Otherwise, to many, it’s Peterbot’s FNCS to lose. The player has been winning for so long now it’s basically becoming boring. But the FNCS LAN can always have surprising results especially with the weird drop situation right now.

The Two Favorites Hot Dropping

The whole lead up to Major 3, Peterbot and Pollo spent the season practicing hot drops. Over and over again. Until they both became considerably better at rough landings than pretty much anyone else in the lobby. In FNCS Globals predictions, their strength at these contested drops are a big factor. This season, it looked to have resolved itself. But then Epic dropped a hotfix.

They vaulted Medallions, but not for tournaments. Although, just to throw an extra spanner in the works they moved one Medallion to a 50% drop rate, split between two POIs. One of which has been claimed by each of these favorite Trios.

It means we’re going to see each team relying on a 50/50 to get the loot their game plan demands. Which if the last year is anything to go by, might mean Peterbot pushes Pollo off spawn in 50% of games to ensure he gets the Medallion. The split medallion drop has the potential to force these Trios to lose half their games early on, or at least be playing without the Medallion they’re banking on.

Europe Trios Not to be Underestimated

The big NAC Trios dominate conversation, because the year has been dramatic and fun. But Europe is the single hardest lobby in the world. While the top Fortnite players often don’t hail from here, it’s a higher standard for everyone competing to make it. This extra pressure could help any of the attending Europe teams make it to the top few.

The other element to keep in mind for FNCS Globals predictions is the sheer number of European teams, way more than anywhere else. So, we’ve got a substantially larger chance of more Europe teams making the top 10 than any other region, just through their numbers advantage. It would also be great to see one fo the Europe teams win. Plays like we saw from MariusCOW, Pixie, and Vanyak3kk in Major 2 are definitely deserving of a LAN FNCS Win at Globals.

Clix Makes it to LAN

The other major NAC player to look at in FNCS Globals Predictions in Clix. His team came incredibly close to winning Major 2, maybe finally getting Clix an FNCS win. But they lost, and Clix, Higgs, and Eomzo lost Major 3 too. They didn’t even make much of an impact, aside from an incredibly ill-fated move to push Peterbot for no reason mid-game.

Clix’s Trio wasn’t getting the surge they wanted, so rather than engage with any of the other teams locallly, they decided to W-Key the single best player for no understandable reason. Maybe we’ll see the Trio get back to their Major 2 form at the FNCS Globals, or we could see more big brain moves like in Major 3.

The Surge Problem in FNCS Globals Predictions

The final factor to consider for FNCS Globals 2025 is Storm Surge. The little mechanic that Fortnite esports needs to prevent everyone hiding in a box until placement points kick in. Yet, creative ways to maximize surge have made a mockery of the game this year. That’s not stopping at Globals.

The teams at Globals got here by building towers, farming surge, and making the mid-game as dull as possible. Nothing has been done about the mechanic yet, since we’re mid-season. So, it’ll likely weigh heavily on the results over the weekend. We could see an announcement of a rule change for next year though, Epic and BLAST have definitely been looking into a fix for the disruptive surge meta.
